Is JW.Org the true religion?
by Maria Nieves injw.org states that they are the true religion.
i was told that it is written in the bible that jw.org is the true religion.
the following is the "alleged" evidence that was presented to me:.

Days of future passed, that is what I was wondering, whether Jehovah Witness were taking a scripture and interpreting it in their own way. A way that is to their benefit.
I have seen people be disfellowshipped within the congregation. I have also seen disfellowshipped ones be shunned. Watching how a disfellowshipped person gets treated does not seem like brotherly love to me.

JW.Org states that they are the true religion. I was told that it is written in the bible that JW.Org is the true religion. The following is the "alleged" evidence that was presented to me:
Isaiah 43:10 "You are my witnesses," declares Jehovah, "Yes, my servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and have faith in me And understand that I am the same One. Before me no God was formed, And after me there has been none.
What do you think of the above scripture? Is it evidence that Jehovah Witness are the one true religion? Or can it be that JW.Org obtained its name from the above scripture?

JW at a thrift store....
by Muddy Waters inso i was recently in a thrift store, looking through some of the stuff there, when another aisle over, somebody sneezed.. (as far as i know, nobody lost a meatball.... 😅🙃 ...).

My Study Conductor taught me not to say, "Bless you." I learned not to say it to Jehovah Witnesses but in the world, I did say it to others. To me, its just courtesy, showing politeness or showing that you care.
One time I observed a child say, "Bless you" to a person sitting next to her at a Kingdom Hall. Her grandmother quickly corrected her. It was sad to see the child showing courtesy and then being corrected. I am sure that the child did not think that she was doing anything wrong when she decided to say, "Bless you."

initially, i liked the studies and felt that i was growing closer to god.
however, as the studies progressed, they seemed to become increasingly negative and i did not like what i was being taught.

DesirousOfChange, Thank-you for the concern. No. My Study Conductor did not get to me. There was a time that I was not aware that the only site that I could visit was JW.Org. I was going through a difficult time and was seeking answers. Therefore, I looked on-line. Being naive, I told my Study Conductor that I was reading biblical things on-line. My Study Conductor became very upset. She made it clear that I was only to look at materials from JW.Org and stated that material from elsewhere was of Satan. If she knew that I was on this site, she would label me an Apostate.
When I first began to have doubts about the truth, I thought that the problem was me and I believed that Satan was influencing me. These are things that I did not tell my Study Conductor because I began to lose trust in her after she became upset.
I now find myself in a situation where my doubts towards the Jehovah Witness religion continue to grow. At this point, there is nothing that my Study Conductor can say that will result in me thinking otherwise.
Vanderhoven7, thank-you for the advise. I have learned that Jehovah Witness immediately put an end to being challenged. As soon as a challenging question is asked, they will quickly end the conversation. If the challenge continues, they label the person who is doing the challenge as an apostate. However, the information that you provided was helpful for me. I was not aware that white blood cells are passed from the mother's milk to the child when feeding.
Finkelstein, It was because of my insecurities and ignorance that I began to study with Jehovah Witness. I began to study during a time in my life where I was going through many hardships and emotional problems. I felt lost and was lost. A study was offered to me and I quickly accepted without hesitation because I was searching for healing. As I progressed in my studies, being at The Kingdom Hall and being around other Jehovah Witness, it was then that I began to have questions.

Question? How Many Hours of Field Service Does it Take
by new boy incurrently, to create one new jehovah's witness convert?.
-
Maria Nieves
Why do Jehovah Witnesses do field service if the chances of obtaining one new convert are slim? What is the incentive? Jehovah Witnesses say that Jesus preached to the nations and in the same way, they do too. Their argument is that it is their responsibility to save a person and if they don't, they are guilty of murder. I wonder how true this is. I just don't see the purpose of the preaching work when so few people convert. Seems to me that there has to be an incentive other than saving lives. -

I think that it is accurate to say that the video did not show how the person studying feels about breaking of a personal connection and the impact that it will have on the person. Through studying, I have learned that Jehovah Witnesses' loyalty is to the Watchtower Society. If they can cease communication with a disfellowshipped loved one, then they are not concerned as to the negative effects that ending a bible study can have on the person who is studying.
I am concerned as to the impact that ending the bible study will have on my study conductor. I worry about how the study conductor will be viewed by the congregation and whether the study conductor will be made to feel shame by the congregation. I worry about how the study conductor will be treated by the congregation.
I also feel guilt about the dedication that the study conductor displayed towards me.
Jehovah Witness teach that if you are brought to Jehovah and you renounce him, he will renounce you forever. Therefore, if I end the study, I will be viewed as having renounced Jehovah and being an apostate. I do not feel that I am renouncing God by no longer wanting to continue to study. However, that is how it will be viewed.
I was honest when I said that as my studies progressed, I felt that what I was being taught was becoming progressively negative. However, if I were to say this to my study conductor, I fear that I will be labeled an apostate. Whenever, I have expressed an opinion that was in opposition to what I was being taught, I was shown bible scriptures that supported what I was being taught. I have even sensed anger and defensiveness from my study conductor whenever I have said something that was not in agreement with what my study conductor was teaching. It became a situation where I felt that I could not express my opinions. Eventually, I just shutdown and stopped expressing my opinions.
I am sure that my study conductor has noticed a change. I used to be very active in commenting at the meetings, reading the literature and watching the broadcast. Now I just remain silent.
Thank-you to everyone for your kind words and advice. Its been helpful to me in coping with the situation that I find myself in.

I did see the video of discontinuing unproductive bible studies. It was first shown several weeks ago at the Kingdom Hall that I attend. It was shown again this week at the Kingdom Hall that I attend.
When I first began to study, it was never said that the goal was for me to become baptized. However, as I progressed, it became clear that the goal was to become baptized.
It was only after I had been studying for some time that I was taught that only Jehovah's Witnesses are clean and those who are not Jehovah's Witnesses are unclean. I do not agree with this and I do not believe it. I was also taught that the only friends that I am to have are Jehovah's Witnesses. I can be cordial with those who are not Witnesses but I must avoid association with them and am not to become friends with them. These are some of the things that have caused me to question whether the truth is actually the truth. I no longer believe the truth to be the truth.
